MKA SPF HATCHERY

 

This is the only shrimp hatchery in Bangladesh with its own SPF domesticated brood stock. Its SPF stock is free of 12 diseases that are known to plague the shrimp farming industry. With strict adherence to bio-security measures it maintains the purity of these breeders. Breeders are regularly tested in Moana Technologies Lab to ensure they are free from disease.

 

MKA is a pioneer in raising its breeders and post larvae on an organic and natural diet, completely free of antibiotics. It has a current capacity of 500 Million post larvae per year, with plans to expand to 1 Billion in 3 years.

 

MKA is supported by the leading fish organizations in the world and transforming the shrimp industry. Bangladesh Government has expressed its support in fostering SPF shrimp production throughout Bangladesh.
